Lawsuit Update - DrumBeat Digital

We have filed a suit for $1,800.00 with the Johnson County Kansas Small Claims Court.

We are alleging that Drumbeat Digital spammed us 4 times using email addresses they had harvested from websites we operate. No one at our company had a prior business relationship with them and we never granted them permission to email us.

They have requested a continuance and as a courtesy our Small Claims Court routinely approves a new date.

No matter, we will win the case just as easily in January as we would have in December.

On January 20th the case was held and the defendent failed to appear. The court awarded us the maximum fine - $1,800 plus court costs. 30 days later we received payment from Drumbeat Digital in the amount of $1,851.00
