Internet Business Initiatives, LLC helps businesses integrate Internet technology with their traditional sales and marketing processes.

Personally, I have 20+ years of experience using technology to enhance business processes. I have a unique mix of business acumen and technology knowledge.

When I worked in industry I developed and used permission based email marketing to enhance our communication with our clients and prospects.

I have started two-technology information and education Internet properties that used opt-in permission based email to distribute their newsletters. One has been sold and the other we still manage. In 1996 we were one of the first companies to apply HTML formatting of email messages.

I have established my expertise in the eMarketing field and for the past 3 years I have consulted for local companies, assisting them in the development an enhancement of their online marketing program.

I filed papers in the Johnson County Small Claims Court against 7 companies that have repeatedly sent spam to me in violation of the recently enacted KS commercial email act.

In 2002 I gave a presentation at the Kansas City ITEC Technology Trade Show on “Did you know Kansas and Missouri have Spam Laws?”

I have also given a presentation to the American Marketing Association – Kansas City Chapter on the same subject. I also am on the Board, and serve as the incoming president.

In April, I have an article entitled “ Real Businesses Send Spam, Too!” in the Business Marketing Association's publication “ The Business to Business Marketer”.

When people are asked what is the most popular activity to do on the Internet, 93% of the responders ranked email as their most important Internet activity.

Email is the Internet and Spam is going to cause it to self-destruct if we don’t do something about it.

This problem far out whelms the issue of unwanted telemarketing calls – in volume, expense, intrusion and content.
